I started my own business fresh out of school performing pre- and post-operative treatments for plastic surgeons in the Charleston area. I gained valuable experience in restorative skin care and lymphatic drainage techniques.
I also learned that women were having plastic surgery for the wrong reasons!
That’s when I realized my true calling: to pursue clinical aesthetics and provide people with a non-invasive alternative to cosmetic surgery.
My husband, Stephen, and I moved to Miami so I could learn from the leading experts in clinical skin care. I became the head aesthetician at one of the top destination spas in the world – the Doral Saturnia (today known as Pritikin Destination Spa). I also worked at the Fisher Island Club Spa in Miami.
There, using the high-end Terme De Saturnia skin care line from Italy, my clientele included international dignitaries and celebrities such as Oprah, Danny Aiello and Regis and Kathy.
The more I learned, the more I realized there are too many ineffective products out there and that people are misinformed on what works and uneducated on the performance of active ingredients.
After fifteen years of learning all I could about skin care science…and being the perfectionist that I am…I began developing my own line of products that would offer the highest standards of age-defying and corrective properties available –Science Ceuticals.
Helping individuals see improvements in their skin by providing non-invasive, alternative treatments to plastic surgery – this IS my ministry! Where I am today, I owe all to Him and I am so thankful to be able to do what I truly love.
